QuickCircuit recently underwent a SIRI Assessment conducted by Andrew Cowie of Sand Digital, with support from Callaghan Innovation.
The Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) Assessment is a specialised framework used to independently measure the digital maturity for manufacturers and their adoption of Industry 4.0 practices. The assessment occurs across 16 dimensions covering ‘Process’, ‘Technology’ and ‘Organisation’ elements of the business. This scoring is then benchmarked against the other assessed organisations in over 30 countries.
As a result of this assessment, QuickCircuit has shown itself to be ranked Best-In-Class across most of the dimensions, delivering results in the top percentiles when measured against industry peers.
One of QuickCircuits key strengths in this area is its in-house developed, custom MES architecture, which allows for comprehensive customised manufacturing data management, with extensive shop-floor management controls coupled with MRP aerospace level traceability systems. Through this system Quickcircuit has digitised and integrated nearly every aspect of its processes and data. Decision making at all levels is improved based on the availability and use of high quality and integrated data which drives significant improvements in speed, agility and most importantly control, throughout the business. The in-house capability to modify this system drives ongoing improvement and creates a digital system that matches and ‘keeps up’ with business requirements. This allows Quickcircuit to react quickly and effectively to changes for our customers.
“QuickCircuit has shown itself to be a true leader in Industry 4.0. I feel very lucky to have assessed this organisation and had the chance to see the amazing level of digital innovation that they have achieved. From a culture, capability, process, technology and data perspective they are very strongly positioned for the future.” – Andrew Cowie, Certified SIRI Assessor – Sand Digital
